All of the files below are in Adobe Acrobat format.  You can download the free Acrobat reader software from Adobe's web site. The files can be viewed or printed, but cannot be edited in any way (see note below).

The following notes and manuals are only for the use of students of the Department of Earth Sciences at The University of Queensland, and authorised Corporate Clients. These people are  free to download the material here for their own use but will require a password supplied by Rod Holcombe. Please be aware that all of this material is copyright to Rod Holcombe. You may not modify or upload individual parts of this site (including images, figures, lecture notes, or programs) to other computer systems or servers, nor include any of this material in any media (CD-ROM's, floppy disks, etc.) produced for mass distribution without my express, written permission.

Many of the manuals and notes below were developed by Rod Holcombe for specific courses at the University of Queensland. These courses are now taught by Dr Gideon Rosenbaum and the content shown here is not necessarily that of the current courses. Thus the categories now given here are by generic class Level rather than by specific course code.
